The number of homes sold last month was very close to the lowest figure recorded in the past decade for the month of September.
In contrast to the low sales, there was a significant surge in the number of new listings which resulted in a higher inventory of homes on the market. This increase in supply could potentially benefit buyers who are looking for homes, as they have more options to choose from.
The market is shifting towards benefiting Buyers however there is still an affordability crisis in our Region, with four in ten people reporting that they live in housing that is unaffordable.
