The Spring Real Estate Market is quite active in Waterloo Region. There has been an increase in both buyer and listing activity in May, which is a positive sign for the market. However, it’s important to note that while there has been an uptick in listings compared to April, the number of listings being added to the MLS® System is still quite low historically. As a result, the region remains in a Seller’s market, with high demand for properties driven by the diverse economy and desirable community. This means that Buyers may face intense competition, while Sellers receive increasingly competitive offers. Overall, it’s an interesting time in the market, and we’ll have to wait and see how things develop in June.
